INSME members are invited to participate to the conference and in the INSME General Assembly on 2 December. INSME President Sergio Arzeni intervention at WBAF Antalya (https://www.insme.org/insme-president-sergio-arzeni-intervention-at-wbaf-ant...) On 25 and 26 October, the World Business Angels Forum took place in Antalya, “Digital transformation for post-pandemic economies”. At this occasion, INSME President Sergio Arzeni discussed Turkey's policy towards the creation of new SMEs and facilitating their access to credit. African Research Initiative Conference (https://www.insme.org/african-research-initiative-conference/) INSME President Sergio Arzeni and Prof. Jay Mitra (INSME Board Member) attended the first edition of the virtual African Research Initiative Conference on 24-26 October, discussing sustainable innovative entrepreneurship research with Africa through transdisciplinary and interdisciplinary perspectives. RaDAR at the 2022 IEEE MetroXRAINE Congress (https://www.insme.org/radar-meeting-22nd-of-october/) On 26 October, the RaDAR project, in which INSME is involved as partner, was presented during the 2022 IEEE MetroXRAINE Congress in Rome, Italy. INSME joins the Union for the Mediterranean Conference (https://www.insme.org/union-for-the-mediterranean-conference/) The Union for the Mediterranean Secretariat organized in Nicosia on 6 and 7 October 2022 a Conference “Enhancing SMEs resilience in face of future shocks”. Giovanni Zazzerini, INSME Secretary General, attended the event to discuss how to best support SMEs during crises and funding towards twin transitions. Updates and contributions from INSME Members BDB presented its financial and guarantee products at SIM Expo 2022 (https://www.insme.org/bbb-presented-its-financial-and-guarantee-products-at-...) The Bulgarian Development Bank was a partner of the SIM Expo 2022 international conference on 3 and 4 October in Sofia. The event was organized by the Bulgarian Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Agency together with the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. GreenItaly 2022 Report by Symbola Foundation and Unioncamere (https://www.insme.org/greenitaly-2022-report-by-symbola-foundation-and-union...) The president of Unioncamere, Andrea Prete, highlighted during the presentation of the 13th edition of the GreenItaly report that in 2021 the share of eco-investor companies grew, relaunching the country’s green transition process. EBRD: Mediterranean Growth to Slow in 2022 (https://www.insme.org/ebrd-mediterranean-growth-to-slow-in-2022/) The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has forecasted an economic growth in the Mediterranean region of 66 per cent in 2021 to 2.9 per cent in 2022, according to their latest report, with inflation and pressures on foreign reserves increasing in 2022.
