The next INSME Annual Meeting will take place on 1 and 2 December in Baku, Azerbaijan, co-organised with INSME member KOBIA, the Agency for Development of SMEs in Azerbaijan. INSME members are invited to participate to the conference and in the INSME General Assembly on 2 December.

On 25 and 26 October, the World Business Angels Forum took place in Antalya, “Digital transformation for post-pandemic economies”. At this occasion, INSME President Sergio Arzeni discussed Turkey's policy towards the creation of new SMEs and facilitating their access to credit.

INSME President Sergio Arzeni and Prof. Jay Mitra (INSME Board Member) attended the first edition of the virtual African Research Initiative Conference on 24-26 October, discussing sustainable innovative entrepreneurship research with Africa through transdisciplinary and interdisciplinary perspectives.

INSME joins the Union for the Mediterranean Conference
The Union for the Mediterranean Secretariat organized in Nicosia on 6 and 7 October 2022 a Conference “Enhancing SMEs resilience in face of future shocks”. Giovanni Zazzerini, INSME Secretary General, attended the event to discuss how to best support SMEs during crises and funding towards twin transitions.

BDB presented its financial and guarantee products at SIM Expo 2022
The Bulgarian Development Bank was a partner of the SIM Expo 2022 international conference on 3 and 4 October in Sofia. The event was organized by the Bulgarian Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Agency together with the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
