Anchoring our news will be bite-sized stories about Japan’s innovation and creativity as the foundation of new ideas. Fronting our first two issues are new ideas at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games. While the world continues to face the challenges of covid-19, travellers can get the latest information (https://www.japan.travel/en/coronavirus/) on the covid-19 situation in Japan. Although the global meetings industry has paused momentarily, our mission to welcome international business events when borders reopen is ongoing. For the next 18 months from 1 August this year, the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) will be the Destination Partner of IAPCO (https://www.japanmeetings.org/assets/docs/news/20210802.pdf) , the International Association of Professional Congress Organisers. Later this month, from September 30^th to October 1^st, our London office will be participating in The Meetings Show UK (https://l.feathr.co/The_Meetings_Show/Japan-National-Tourism-Organisation) as a virtual exhibitor.
