Some of the benefits that visitors will see include discounted fares from most major airlines and LCCs on domestic flights, shopping discounts, cash-back services and gift campaigns, as well as new and exciting experiences. For example, as of April, Ozu Castle in Ehime Prefecture will become the first castle in Japan to open its doors to overnight visitors, while pop culture connoisseurs can be part of the Anime Pilgrimage 2020. In addition, there are exclusive experiences for business visitors both during and around their events – keep an eye on the Japan Convention Bureau website for further announcements. It is my great pleasure to invite business events planners bringing groups to Japan this year to leverage this opportunity. Please feel free to contact JNTO for discussions and ideas on how your participants can enjoy Japan even more this year through our Your Japan 2020 campaign. https://www.japanmeetings.org/ Ellen Mitchell | Convention Manager Japan Convention Bureau Japan National Tourism Organization 3rd Floor, 32 Queensway, London, United Kingdom E: ellen_mitchell@jnto.go.jp (mailto:ellen_mitchell@jnto.go.jp?subject=JNTO%20London%20e%20-News%20January) T: +44 20 7398 5670 Japan. The progamme’s farewell party took place in the Tokyo Kaikan and featured entertainment from Okinawa, one of the destinations for this year’s programme. Guests were treated to eisa (a dynamic folk dance), sanshin (a traditional Okinawan string instrument), and a lion dance performance. Read More...
