Call for Papers: Mannheim Conference on Energy and the Environment
Dear Peter Maskell, We are happy to announce that we will host the 12th Mannheim Conference on Energy and the Environment on 13-14 May 2024 at ZEW Mannheim, Germany. If there are researchers in your department who work on related topics, we would be grateful if you could forward our call for papers to them! We invite leading experts as well as researchers at all career levels to present and discuss innovative current research in the fields of energy, climate and environmental economics. Contributions with different methodological backgrounds (theoretical, empirical, and behavioural research) are welcome. Topics may include, but are not limited to: - Environmental economics - Energy economics - Climate economics - Public economics We will be happy to welcome Kyle Meng (UC Santa Barbara), Lucija Muehlenbachs (University of Calgary) and Rob Williams (University of Maryland) as keynote speakers. The conference will take place on site in Mannheim. Interested researchers are invited to submit an academic paper. We accept the submission of extended abstracts (min. 1,000 words). However, all else equal, preference will be given to completed papers. Submissions should be uploaded here no later than 31 January 2024.
