Call for Papers - Mannheim Conference on Energy and the Environment 2021
Dear Sir or Madam, Dear colleague, We would like to draw your attention to the following event: 9th Mannheim Conference on Energy and the Environment on 20-21 May 2021 organized by ZEW Mannheim, Germany. We are happy to welcome - Christiane Baumeister (University of Notre Dame, US) - Kenneth Gillingham (Yale University, US) - Ashley Langer (University of Arizona, US) - Erik T. Verhoef (VU Amsterdam, NL) to deliver their keynote speeches. Leading experts as well as researchers at all career levels are invited to present and discuss innovative current research in the fields of energy and environmental economics. Contributions with different methodological backgrounds (theoretical, empirical, and behavioural research) are welcome. Topics may include, but are not limited to: - Environmental economics - Energy economics - Climate economics - Public economics - Industrial organization - Behavioural economics - Transportation economics The conference will take place in a hybrid format; it will be possible to participate either on site in Mannheim or online. Interested researchers are invited to submit preferably an academic paper, or an extended abstract of at least three pages.
