***Reminder Call for Papers MCEE 2023: Deadline 31 January*** Dear Sir or Madam, Dear colleague, We would like to draw your attention to the following event: 11th Mannheim Conference on Energy and the Environment on 8-9 May 2023 organized by ZEW Mannheim, Germany. We are happy to welcome - Lint Barrage (ETH Zurich, CH) - Robert Metcalfe (University of Southern California, US) - Wolfram Schlenker (Columbia University, US) - Shuang Zhang (Imperial College London, UK) to deliver their keynote speeches. Leading experts as well as researchers at all career levels are invited to present and discuss innovative current research in the fields of energy, climate and environmental economics. Contributions with different methodological backgrounds (theoretical, empirical, and behavioural research) are welcome. Topics may include, but are not limited to: - Environmental economics - Energy economics - Climate economics - Public economics We are pleased to announce that at this year’s conference the most outstanding contribution from a PhD student will be selected for the Heinz König Award. The award is sponsored by MVV Energie AG, member of the ZEW’s Sponsors’ Association of Science and Practice. The award is endowed with EUR 5,000 and also offers the possibility of a three-month residential fellowship at ZEW including travel and accommodation costs.
