Regarding the food catering,
I am currently on a strict low FODMAP-diet (except lactose is allowed) due to food intolerances (IBS-irritable bowel syndrome). It is quite a complex diet with
a booklet on what to eat and what not. However, the basics and most common triggers are no wheat (similar to no gluten), no onion, no garlic, and no fructose. I know it is difficult to accommodate, therefore I will bring some gluten-free crackers to make lunch
easier. I am willing to discuss it more in detail if that would make things easier (e.g. specific options, menu changes,..). The safest dinner option would be a non-marinated piece of meat (e.g. chicken, steak,..) without seasoning (salt and pepper are allowed)
and potatoes, or fries, or rice.
My apologies for the inconvenience this might cause.

Dear Participant of the DRUID Academy 2024,
we are pleased to inform you that the program for the DRUID Academy 2024 is ready, see attached. It will also be available at the conference website within the next days. We will provide an updated version in the beginning of January with
more information on the program. We expect that you will participate in the entire conference. However, should that not be possible, please let us know so that we can make our arrangements.
Please be aware that you are appointed junior discussant for a paper in your session. Due to the wide range of topics in the conference, you might have to discuss a paper that is not at the core of your research. All papers are available
under 'Papers' in the blue banner at the conference website.
For your presentation and for your discussion, it is important that you read the 'Tips for Presenter' before preparing your presentation. The tips can be found on the conference website under 'Practical info'.
The conference fee includes meals during the conference and the catering would like to know whether you have special request, such as vegetarian food or gluten free. Please return by e-mail with this information no later than January 5,
2024.
