I completely understand the formalities and the complexities involved in the organization of such a big event. In fact, I am very sorry I had to cancel my participation just a few weeks before the conference but I could not do otherwise. He will need to register himself -- unfortunately, you cannot transfer your registration to him (it is not technically possible, and it would be your name and not his in the program, on the name tag, and for the tickets for social events. That would not work.). He will need to register IMMEDIATELY, as the program is finalized today. We can refund you 50% of the conference fee, as per the Terms and Conditions. I am sorry to stick to the formalities, but we are a non-profit organisation with a lot of technical and financial constraints!
