Social Mobility and Economic Performance
22 – 23 March 2021 | Mannheim - Germany
ZEW will host an international workshop that will bring together 10 – 15 scholars actively contributing to the growing literature on social mobility and
its relation to economic performance. We are particularly interested in contributions that explore the causes and consequences of changes in the intergenerational transmission of economic status. We also welcome submissions on any topic related to social mobility,
the geography of intergenerational mobility and/or mobility from across-country perspective. The workshop is jointly funded by the international research programme SEEK (Strengthening Efficiency and Competitiveness in the European Knowledge Economies) and
the D3.2 grant Evidence-Based Anti-Poverty Policies – Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Milan.
