They belong to a special community called Flemish or Fleming. The Flemish or Flemings are a Germanic ethnic groupnative to Flanders, Belgium, who speak Flemish Dutch.They are one of two principal ethnic groups in Belgium, the other being the French-speaking Walloons. The official capital of Flanders is the City of Brussels, although the Brussels-Capital Region has an independent regional government. The government of Flanders only oversees the community aspects of Flanders life in Brussels, such as Flemish culture and education. Present-day Belgium was originally inhabited by Celtic tribes and overrun by the Romans under Julius Caesar’s in 57 bc. Erwin Horckmans will discuss the similarity between the Norse god Heimdall and the Indian deity Agni. The main deity of Norse is Adi (Odin) who is the form of Adi Shiva. Aadi means first i.e. first deity. We are well acquainted with the names of God Adinath, Adi Shankaracharya. In Norse mythology, two crows of Odin (Adi), whom they call Raven, act as messengers. Their work is to make the Adi (Odin) deity aware by circling the entire earth every day. The importance of crows (Ravens) is also in the Sanatan Hindu culture. They indicate the arrival of the guest and the ancestors at the time of Halloween (श्राद्ध) . For Ravens (Crows) , the practice of offering special food is prevalent in the temple of Lord Parashurama (Dagda) located in Trivandrum in South India. Lord Parashurama is also a Celtic god know as “Dagda”. Similarly Celts call Lord Shiva as “Cernunnos”.
