Hello
Jeanette Recognise
the hard work and successful projects you completed in the last 18 months. Nominate
yourself, a colleague, a project, your association (low admin fee) or a supplier (no fee) for the
Association Success Awards. Here are
our top 5 tips for writing a persuasive entry as quickly as possible:
- Add your killer point at the beginning and reinforce it at the end - This
insures that you grab the reader's attention right from the start. Then, because most people remember
the most recent information presented to them, reinforce your point at the end, to ensure your most outstanding
achievements stay with them.
- Back your nomination up - Include statistics to make your point stronger.
Screenshots from google analytics, your CRM or social media platforms is often enough.
- Include feedback and endorsements - Independent feedback, especially from
members, can be very persuasive, regardless if it's from evaluation forms, social media comments or complimenting
emails.
- Organise your entry well - You can use bullet points to be succint, punchy
and stick to the point
- Save and re-read your entry later - This will allow you to distance
yourself from the submission, making it easier to spot any oversights or mistakes you might have made
in your first draft.
The
nomination forms are digital, easy to fill in and with enough guidelines in the five main sections,
to help you focus on the elements the judges are interested in. Just
to remind you, the nominations deadline is on 11 March and there are 23 categories
you can nominate in, in the following areas:
