ONE THIRD OF PLANNERS PLEDGE TO GO NET ZERO IN 7 YEARS
At the start of the year, we sought to find out how organisations across the MICE industry incorporate sustainable policies and practices into meetings and events.
The results are now in and our survey reveals that although planners are committed to reducing global heating, there are mixed results when it comes to measuring ambition versus action: 58% have a sustainability policy, but only 42% have a dedicated sustainability officer 6% are already running at net zero, while 37% have no net zero target at all
6/10 include DEI in their initiatives, although less than a third align their sustainability policies to the UN Sustainable Development Goals
