I hope you had a great break and you're now settled back into your office (home or otherwise). 

We're excited getting ready to recognise and celebrate excellence once more with the International Association Awards. 

Here are two top reasons why you should nominate yourself, a colleague, a project or your association for this year's edition:

• It's a great way to receive recognition for your hard work, talent and success, which in turn can support your career progression
• If you are a finalist or winner, you can show your members the quality of the work / projects you produce for them

There are 19 categories you can nominate yourself, a colleague and your association in. Categories are in key areas of association development and importance, which are association-guided, not sponsor-driven. Nominations are submitted via our online platform; decide which categories you'd like to submit a nomination in and view how to enter. 

To help you, we've created easy to complete, structured entry forms with multiple boxes. The information about yourself, your organisations and supporting documents are identical across the forms, and the boxes regarding the project, person or organisation nominated are similar and include guiding questions so you know what the judges are looking for. The deadline for submitting your nomination is Tuesday, 26 October. 

• There is a very low administration fee of GBP 75.00 (for completed nominations only) 
• The ceremony is free to attend on Friday, 17 December, at 12:00 GMT
• There is no limit on the number of colleagues to attend the online ceremony

Winners and finalists at previous awards have enjoyed having their successes celebrated - in these especially hard times it would be great to have you do the same.
