Dear Carolin

Thank you for your submission to DRUID! You can see the cancellation and refund policy under Terms and Conditions on the web site (it will also be communicated in the decision mail in April).

We give a refund until Mid May and a partial refund all the way until 10 days before the conference. You will find that this is a much more liberal refund policy than most other conferences.

We cannot give a refund in June because at time, we as organizers have already incurred the expenses of those registered (food, venues, printed material, and so on).

Kind regards

Emne: [Druid] Cancellation policy DRUID conference in case of pregnancy

Dear DRUID team,

My co-authors and I just submitted a paper (crossing our fingers that it will be accepted). In any case, I have a question: I am pregnant, and at the time of the DRUID conference, I will be in week 34. I want to ask if this case has an "adjusted" cancellation policy. It is impossible for me (at the registration deadline) to estimate how I will be doing in June. In the event of a cancellation (due to medical reasons), would it be possible to get a refund of the registration fee? I could, of course, also submit a medical certificate. As a PhD student, I only have a limited amount of funding available; that is why registering would be a great risk if the registration fee were completely lost.

Best regards,

Carolin
