'The Majestic Adventures of Ofelia de Souza' in Porto and North of Portugal

Last year, 'Visit Porto and North of Portugal - Convention & Visitors Bureau' presented its promotional film “Why choose Porto & North of Portugal for your event? - The Majestic Adventures of Ofelia de Souza”, which positions and reinforces the strategy of the region as a privileged destination for the Meetings Industry.

The protagonist of the film is Ofelia de Souza, a 72-year-old experienced event planner and epicurean from the city of Lamego. Along with her personal assistants “Ofelier” and “Ofeliette”, she shares tips and secrets for choosing and enjoying one of the best business tourism destinations in the world.

The film begins in a provocative tone when the extravagant Ofelia states that, on several destinations, on business trips, you never know if you're going to “die of boredom” or “back pain”...

For the president of Visit Porto and North of Portugal CVB, Luís Pedro Martins, this campaign is based on a promotional film with a Leisure approach, something that meets the trend in the market of event planning.

Since it was presented to the world last October, Ofelia de Souza won several international awards.
