I am writing to you on behalf of Fáilte Ireland (The Irish Tourism Development Authority). I hope this email finds you keeping safe and well in these unprecedented times.
Like many other countries, we are incredibly eager to re-engage Ireland in the business tourism sector. I would like to discuss with you the possibility of hosting the DRUID Society
Conference in Ireland in the future. Therefore, I would be most grateful to receive a brief reply, to the following questions at your earliest convenience.

Please could you tell me when is your next open year?

What do you think you will be looking for in a venue/city?

Is it a requirement for members to "bid" to host the Conference? If so, do you have any members in Ireland and would you be able to share their contact details, to enable me to contact them directly?

If this is not necessary, do you have responsibility for deciding where the Conference is held? If so, I would be most grateful to receive details of your requirements to enable us to put together
a proposal.
As an added incentive, we have temporarily increased our financial support to an event attracting in excess of 100 international delegates. We are now offering €30 (usually €10)
per international delegate flat rate for all conferences (to a maximum value of €100,000). The application must be received in 2021 / 2022, for any event year.
Alternatively, if the Conference would not be held in Ireland, I would very much appreciate a brief e-mail confirmation. This will enable us to update our records accordingly and
prevent us from contacting you again in the future.
