Hi Federico

Nice to hear from you and thanks for signing up as reviewer!

You didnt make any mistake -- it is the system generating a wrong date in the thank-you note. I will see that it is fixed right away. Thanks for letting me know!

All best
Mark

Hi Mark,

very pleased to hear from you again. Hope everything is fine in Copenaghen!
I registered as a reviewer and at the end of the process the following appeared:

Thank you for accepting to review for DRUID22. We will be in touch after the paper submission deadline 2022-03-01

Since I registered as a reviewer for DRUID23 I would like to let you know that there might be an issue there. Is everything fine or I made some mistake in the process? I just clicked the link above.

Best,

Federico

Dear Federico Nutarelli,

We are delighted to invite you to become part of the team of reviewers for the DRUID23 conference, to be held in Lisbon, June 10-June 12, 2023. You can see the Call for Papers here:
https://conference.druid.dk/Druid/?confId=66

We have added your name to the list of potential reviewers in view of your contributions to research within our field and we sincerely hope that you will help DRUID to solidify the quality of research presented at our conferences while keeping it topical and relevant.

The review process will take place in March, and you will find that it is not overly time consuming (for details, see below).

P.S. In case we have several of your email addresses on file, you might get more than one invitation. Please disregard all but one.

---------------------------
BEING A DRUID REVIEWER

The DRUID review process itself is simple and easy in terms of effort and time required. NO WRITTEN REPORT OF ANY KIND IS REQUESTED, as no feedback is offered to the authors (this is clearly stated when authors submit a paper). Each reviewer will receive 5-10 papers electronically during March and must within a timeline of four weeks indicate whether the paper should be considered for the program or not. A brief instruction will be provided with the papers.

The profile you enter during reviewer registration will determine the set of papers you will be assigned. Normally you will only receive papers to grade within a field where you declare yourself to be 'highly skilled', but now and then we also need to include scholars with 'some skills' in a field as a third reviewer of a paper.

We are planning for about 300 participants but the inclusion of unsolicited submissions into the conference program is quite competitive with acceptance rates around 30 per cent.

During the last decade, we have attempted to improve the general quality and academic attractiveness of DRUID and we much hope that this year's event will represent even further improvements. The careful and considered responses from external reviewers are at the core of such efforts and much appreciated by DRUID and our conference co-organizers.

Being a reviewer will add visibility to you and your institution. Your name and affiliation will be highlighted in the conference program together with the other esteemed reviewers who signed up for DRUID23.
