Dear Evaldo Costa

Thank you for your e-mail.

As mentioned in the Call for Papers,  "No review or comments will be offered to the author or authors to supplement the decision." Unfortunately, with up to three peer scholars undertaking a review for each of the close to 700 submissions to the conference, DRUID does not have the capacity to convey reviewer comments for each submitted paper.

Best regards

Jeanette Hvarregaard

DRUID Secretary

Emne: [Druid] RES: DRUID23: May 5 DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT FOR ACCEPTED PAPERS

Dear Dr. Mark,

I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to express my gratitude for your kind follow-up regarding the submission of my paper. Unfortunately, I received an email (see below) stating that it was not accepted.

In light of this, I would like to kindly request if it is possible to receive feedback from the reviewers. I strongly believe that the findings presented in my paper make a significant contribution to both science and society. Therefore, any feedback from the reviewers would be valuable for the success of a future submission to a top-ranked journal indexed by Web of Science and Scopus.

Thank you for considering my request, and I appreciate your time and attention.

Warm regards,

Evaldo Costa

Dear José Costa ,
Paper ID: 70294 , Paper title: " Transformative business models for decarbonization: the case of Web Summit award-winning start-ups "

We have now reached a decision regarding the submissions to be presented during the upcoming DRUID23. The decision has been made according to the criteria stated in the call for papers, i.e. novelty, academic quality and the proposed paper's relation to industrial dynamics in general and to the themes of the conference in particular. All papers have been reviewed anonymously by at least three reviewers working independently of each other. Due to high interest in this year's conference, decision-making has been very difficult and our criteria have been applied very strictly.

We regret to inform you that your paper has not been accepted for presentation at the conference. As stated in the call and during the submission process no review or comments will be offered to the author or authors to supplement the decision.

However, you are encouraged to register for DRUID23 -- a rewarding experience both intellectually and socially. Please see the plenary conference program, available on the conference website. We acknowledge that many scholars interested in attending the conference can only get their participation funded if they present a paper during the conference. In order to faciliate this process we are considering launching two Special Paper Sessions on June 11 pending on sufficient interest. Novel ideas not yet recognized by established reviewers will get attention of the audience in such a session. The session will be organized in tracks and rooms allocated. Presenters will receive a certification of participation in the conference with the name of the author and paper title, much the same as all other presenters, but papers for a Special Paper Session will not be available on the conference website or in the formal conference program and no chair or discussant will be appointed by the conference organizers. If you wish us to consider organizing such an option, please a) register for the conference and pay the conference fee and b) return this email to us, stating "Special Paper Session" in the subject field of the mail. If you have sent this email to us we will notify you before May 20 if there has been shown sufficient interest to make us organize these Special Paper Sessions.

A few practicalities regarding registration and participation to the conference:

Registration can be accessed by clicking “Registration” on the right hand of the screen after logon.

DRUID offers DRUID DISCOVERIES, a suite of excursions on June 11 making the most of Lisbon. Read more under "Practical" on the conference webpage's top blue banner. These excursions will shortly be available for registration and payment from the registration page (deadline June 10).

On the same page, registration and payment is available for the DRUID DECADENCE afterparty in the evening June 12 (payment deadline June 10). Read more under "Practical".

Be sure to make your hotel bookings immediately as vacancies at most conveniently located hotels are in short supply. Please ensure to meet current visa requirements if applicable. Please see the conference website under "Practical" for details about transport to the conference venue, visa requirements, and more.

Cancellation policy:
Cancellations received before May 20: Payments refunded in full.
Cancellations received after May 20 and before June 1: Payments refunded with a 50 % reduction.
Cancellations after June 1: No refund.

Best wishes

Dear José Costa,

Please notice that May 5 is the last chance for registration and payment for papers accepted for DRUID23. After May 5, ACCEPTED PAPERS WITHOUT AT LEAST ONE REGISTERED AUTHOR WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE PROGRAM.

This mail is sent automatically to authors and co-authors of papers accepted for DRUID23 with outstanding registration . We apologize if you have already registered: You may still receive this mail if you have more than one paper accepted under different emails (for instance, if a co-author has used an alternative email address for you). If you have received a receipt for your registration and payment, you do not need to take any action.

Further details about conditions and registration/payment procedure are provided in the decision email.

For registration and payment, please visit the conference web site at www.druid.dk and logon to your DRUID account from the DRUID23 conference page. Registration can be found by clicking the link "My registration" after logon to the conference.

We look forward to seeing you in Lisbon!

Best wishes
