Effective Chairing: Making meetings more productive

This masterclass is part of the Changing Conversations: Changing Outcomes Programme.

This session will encourage you to refine your skills and understanding of chairing. And it’s an opportunity to grow. To take your Chairing to the next level. Together we’ll explore your existing value and discover what extra potential exists within you. You bring the raw material, your experience, what works, and where you’re facing challenges. John will bring new ideas and stimulations to get you thinking. And you’ll work together to carve out your path to progress.

John will walk you through a framework that will give you the confidence to make your work as a Chair, a rewarding, productive and enjoyable experience for you and the group you’re working with. You’ll leave with what you need to enable your group to work together, to create move forward, in the right direction, a key aspect of any meeting. 

This session will suit those with some experience of Chairing. If you’ve just begun, you’ll learn a framework and take away the confidence to make your early adventures rewarding and enjoyable. And if you’ve got some chairing experience behind you, it will stimulate you to review and add to what you know. In both cases, it’s an opportunity to grow as a Chair, to refine your skills and take your Chairing to the next level.
