Good evening Mark,
Thank you again for all of your encouragement and guidelines suggestions for the DRUID submission.
On that note, I am pleased to highlight very good news and that is I did just get confirmation that our paper that has indeed been submitted and accepted. I got confirmation of acceptance, on time, before midnight local time, which is great news!
My co-author will also be so very pleased to learn our paper is in the system and officially submitted.
I believe you and the reviewers will find that our paper speaks volume to relevance, but also with enthusiasm and passion for the theme for this year's DRUID
conference. In particular, my research is directly related to innovation and entrepreneurship as well sustainability / ESG, so it is a great theme
this year, no doubt.
Of note, with being at McGill University here in Montreal, Canada and also teaching at the University of Ottawa, I will be sure to communicate to my peers at both business schools here in Canada, the great opportunity the DRUID conference provides for research.
I hope to (finally) meet you in person in Lisbon later this June!
Thank you again for the guidance. The paper has been submitted and accepted. I appreciate the help once again. Have a great remainder of the week and talk soon.
Kind regards,
Dennis

Excellent. The good news is that deadline is March 1 by midnight LOCAL TIME, ie you have a few more hours at your disposal.

Good afternoon Mark!
Thank you so very much for the email here. I also know it is almost 18:00 (6pm) your time, so I do very much appreciate the email here.
Of note, in addition to my research, I teach (and have taught) over 25+ MBA and undergraduate courses at McGill University and the University of Ottawa, so I do totally understand and respect the timelines (to be fair with all applicants).
I do indeed also appreciate your motivating recommendation. I will therefore seek to submit the paper at its finest and most robust form with the most relevant information possible. That would be fantastic if accepted with that opportyhnity to upload a modified
version before June (for the conference).
Thank you so very much for the helpful response. I will aim to submit the paper by 6pm my time (midnight Denmark time) and I do hope to meet you in person in Lisbon in June!
Have a great week and I look forward to meeting you in person soon.
Kind regards,
Dennis

Dear Dennis
Thanks for the mail -- it sounds good that you are interested in DRUID! Unfortunately, for reasons I am sure you understand, we have made it a rule never to push the submission deadline. I suggest you submit the best possible manuscript for peer review -- if
the paper gets accepted, you will be able to upload an updated version before the conference.
All best

Emne: [Druid] Request for Extension to March 3rd - for DRUID Carbon neutral paper submission
Hi!
I am writing from Montreal, Canada with McGill University and I am currently working on my Ph.D. with regards to sustainability (ESG) and entrepreneurship, particularly with luxury-based start-ups.
Earlier this month, I learned of your amazing conference, DRUID and I am very, very interested to submit a paper for the Conference in Lisbon. I strongly believe my research (sustainability and luxury entrepeneurship start-ups), will have a huge impact on theoretical
and practical business worlds.
I did see the due date for the submission is tomorrow (by midnight). Based on some logistics, I am inquiring to see if it is possible to submit the paper March 3rd by the same time? I need the extra two days, particularly with regards to the
data set / analysis.
Is that possible?
Thank you so much for your time, help and support and I hope to meet you and see you in Lisbon in June!
Dennis
