Appointment of MMGY Hills Balfour

The London office for the Korea Tourism Organization has recently appointed MMGY Hills Balfour following a competitive tender process. Commenting on the appointment Mr Sangmin Lee, the Director of the London Office, stated "As Korea reopens our borders and once again welcomes organisers and participants in our important MICE market, we are delighted to have appointed MMGY to help us drive increase activity, increase the opportunities for UK &I event planners to learn more about Korea and to ultimately drive an increase in visitation from our Association and corporate MICE markets."

Korea lifts quarantine for vaccinated international visitors from 1st April

No quarantine

Starting from the 1st April 2022, fully vaccinated visitors to Korea will no longer need to quarantine upon entry into the country. The announcement was made on 11th March, and marks the first time Korea will be open to the majority of vaccinated visitors since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Visa Requirements

Travelling to Korea is easy. EU and British passport holders can enter South Korea as a tourist for up to 90 days without a visa, and all you need is to be in possession of a Korea Electronic Travel Authorization (K-ETA)
