Hello Jeanette
If you still haven't started your nomination for the International & European Association
Awards, now is the time to do so! Here are three tips to write your entry faster, while making
sure you include the information the judges are looking for:
- Writing your entry can take less time than you think - The digital forms
only include a few chunkier sections, where guiding questions ensure you add the relevant information.
You can use bullet points to organise your answers, thus writing faster without compromising
on quality and therefore submitting a nomination which is to the point and is easy to read and evaluate.
- Back your nomination up - Include statistics (sometimes screenshots
from software like google analytics or social media platforms is enough) and testimonials as
supporting documents, and remeber to reference them in the copy.
- Add your killer point at the beginning and reinforce it at the end - This
insures that you grab the reader's attention right from the start. Then, because most people remember
the most recent information presented to them, reinforce your point at the end, to ensure your most
outstanding achievements stay with them.
Just to remind you, there are 20+ categories you can nominate yourself, a colleague, a team, a project
or your association in, within the following eight areas:
- People & Teams
- Organisation
- Leadership projects
- Conferences & Events
- Marketing & Communications
- Membership & Communities
- Education & Professional Development
- Publishing & Information
